Software Engineer — Myntra Studio (Live Commerce)

Myntra Studio is a live-commerce feature where influencers showcase and sell fashion to millions of viewers in real time. The team in Bengaluru is hiring Software Engineers to build the streaming, chat, and commerce infrastructure. **Responsibilities:** - Build real-time chat, reactions, and interactive overlay features using WebSockets and WebRTC - Integrate with CDN and media encoding pipelines for low-latency video delivery - Build the commerce layer — add-to-cart, order placement, and inventory reservation during live events - Ensure system resilience during peak live events (10K+ concurrent viewers) **Qualifications:** - 3+ years of backend engineering experience - Experience with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, WebRTC, RTMP) - Strong in Node.js, Go, or Java; Redis Pub/Sub and Kafka experience - Background in media-tech or live-streaming is a strong plus
