Backend Engineer — Postman API Network

Postman's API Network team in Bengaluru is building the world's largest repository of public APIs. You will work on search, discovery, and publisher tooling used by the global developer community. **Responsibilities:** - Build and scale Elasticsearch-powered search and discovery APIs for the API Network - Design publisher workflows: API versioning, changelog generation, and documentation sync - Integrate with popular API gateways (Kong, AWS API GW, Apigee) for import/export - Ensure API Network SLAs and build robust caching layers **Qualifications:** - 3+ years of backend engineering experience - Strong in Node.js or Go; proficient with Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL - Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger and GraphQL spec formats - Experience with event-driven architectures and cloud-native deployments
