SDE-1 — Jar Gold Savings App (Backend)

Jar is a Bengaluru-based fintech helping Indians invest in digital gold through UPI-based micro-savings. The Engineering team is hiring SDE-1s eager to own features end-to-end and grow fast. **Responsibilities:** - Build backend APIs for gold purchase, redemption, and portfolio tracking - Integrate with MMTC-PAMP digital gold APIs and NPCI UPI auto-debit mandates - Write clean, tested Django/FastAPI services and own them in production - Collaborate with product to build savings nudges and personalisation features **Qualifications:** - 1–3 years of backend engineering experience (fresher with strong internship OK) - Strong Python skills; Django or FastAPI experience preferred - Basic understanding of REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and Redis - Eagerness to learn fintech infrastructure and take ownership early
