Senior Software Engineer — Test Platform (Selenium Grid)

BrowserStack's Test Platform team in Bengaluru is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to scale the infrastructure that runs browser and device automation tests for 50,000+ development teams worldwide. **Responsibilities:** - Design and operate the distributed Selenium Grid and WebDriver protocol layer - Build provisioning automation for real device farms (Android, iOS) and cloud VMs - Drive session isolation, queue management, and auto-scaling optimisations - Collaborate with DevRel and enterprise customers to understand and resolve platform issues **Qualifications:** - 5+ years of backend engineering experience - Strong in Java or Go; experience with Selenium WebDriver internals or CDP - Proficient with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud VMs (AWS/GCP) - Background in test tooling, browser automation, or CI/CD integration is a major plus
