SDE-II — Amazon Pay Checkout

Amazon Pay is looking for a Software Development Engineer II to join the Checkout team in Bengaluru. You will own services that process millions of payment transactions daily. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement low-latency, high-availability payment microservices - Drive operational excellence: runbooks, metrics, alarms, and load tests - Own features end-to-end — from design doc to production - Participate in on-call and continually improve system reliability **Qualifications:** - 3+ years of professional SDE experience - Proficiency in Java or Kotlin; familiarity with Spring Boot, AWS services (DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda) - Experience with distributed systems design and REST API development - Strong problem-solving skills, able to handle bar-raiser interviews
