Haskell / Purescript Engineer — Payment Orchestration

Juspay is the engineering backbone of Indian payments. Our Haskell/Purescript stack powers the payment gateway for Flipkart, Amazon, Ola, and 300+ merchants. We're hiring engineers who want to work on correctness-first, functionally pure payment systems. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement payment orchestration flows in Haskell (backend) and Purescript (frontend) - Build retry, fallback, and smart routing logic for multi-gateway payment flows - Write property-based tests and formal proofs for financial transaction correctness - Drive systems capable of 50K+ TPS with 99.99% success rates **Qualifications:** - 3+ years of software engineering experience - Experience with Haskell, Purescript, Scala, Elm, or any other strongly-typed functional language - Strong understanding of type theory, monads, and effect systems - Interest in financial systems and payment infrastructure
