Staff Engineer — Ad Exchange Platform

InMobi's Ad Exchange team in Bengaluru is hiring a Staff Engineer to design and scale the core real-time bidding (RTB) infrastructure that serves ads to mobile users globally. **Responsibilities:** - Own the architecture and implementation of the bid-request pipeline (OpenRTB 2.x) - Drive microsecond-level latency optimisations using C++ and systems programming - Lead the evolution from monolith to event-driven microservices - Mentor a team of 6–8 engineers and drive technical excellence **Qualifications:** - 8+ years of engineering experience; 3+ years at senior/staff level - Expert-level C++ or Go; deep understanding of CPU caches, memory models, and networking - Experience with high-throughput distributed systems (100K+ RPS per node) - Prior experience in ad-tech (DSP, SSP, ad exchange) strongly preferred
