## About This Recruitment The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released two notifications (dated 10 July 2026) for 572 Village Accountant / Village Administrative Officer (VAO), locally called "Grama Aadalitha Adhikari", posts under the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka. Vacancies are split 505 under the General/RPC cadre (across 21 districts) and 67 under the Kalyana-Karnataka cadre (Article 371-J). ## Eligibility Criteria - Qualification: PUC (12th) pass or equivalent from a recognized board - Nationality: Indian citizen, domicile requirements as per Karnataka cadre rules - Candidates may apply for only one district within their applicable cadre ## Exam Pattern OMR-based competitive written examination followed by document verification.
